Bogart's Comedy Showcase!

I'm putting together various works for Bob Lackey's awesome comedy production.  It's always a great show if you're around Sodo.  www.facebook.com/BogartsComedyShowcase

*UPDATED*:  Added a few more flyer illustrations I did for the Bogarts Comedy Showcase when they featured Ngaio Bealum, Auggie Smith, and Rodger Lizaola.

PATCHWORK Indie Arts Festival this Sunday

This Sunday in downtown Santa Ana, I'll be sharing a booth at the PATCHWORK Indie Arts Festival.  Along with a bunch of new and familiar art prints, I'll be selling a bunch of cups with hand-drawn beasties all over them.  Come check it out!   ... I may even be doing some live drawing...

"Hollywood's Finest" Monsters series

The worlds greatest monsters are getting ready for a night on the town.  Head over to the SHOP to grab the first 3 monsters in the series as limited edition prints.  Or, if you're in the area, they'll be making an appearance at this Saturday's Santa Ana Artwalk.  (Night Gallery: 201 N. Main St. Santa Ana, CA 92701)

Tee Shirts

I'm about to print a new batch of Tee Shirt art!  :-)
Head over to the Store to place an order, or you can send me an email. (amc@adammichaelchavez.com)
Black and White Tees are the default for my designs, but I can probably accommodate most color requests.

Starry Night, Cthulhu style. :-)

Art Supply Warehouse held a bit of a contest for some Prismocolor goodies a few weeks ago.  The challenge was to recreate Van Gogh's Starry Night any way we saw fit.  I made mine a Scary Night, and I won!

10"x8" Ink on Bristol:

Artwalkin' Part Deux

I'm headed back to Santa Ana for the September 1st artwalk (7-10pm)!  This time I'll be showing 3 acrylic paintings at the Night Gallery (201 N. Main St. Santa Ana, CA 92701).

Here's a preview of the bigger of the 3 pieces (4x3ft):

Artwalkin'

I'm showing a piece at F+ gallery in Santa Ana this Saturday for the artwalk.  The theme for the group was work inspired by music, so I did a vision of "Parabola" by Tool.  :-)

The work is about 20"x9" Ink on Bristol, and I've been having nightmares about chainlinks for days now.
